WHAT AMERICA MEANS TO ME

Body
Hello my name is David Olney and I am a senior at Holdenville High School. What America means to me is a lot of different things. The first thing that comes to mind is freedom. Freedom is the first thing that everyone sees when they look at America and it’s the most important part of our country. Our freedoms not only as a country but as individuals is super important to us as Americans. This freedom is something that we are lucky to have because most countries don’t have the freedom we are given. I think at times we take advantage of what is given to us, and we complain about how things are but in reality we have it much better than others across the globe. I am grateful to be a part of this country and thankful for those who sacrificed to give us these freedoms.

The above photo was taken August 9, 1940 when the Holdenville Round-Up Clup was going strong. Come join us in building this organization back to its original greatness!
