John Edward Maxwell passed away Thursday, February 15, 2024 at Holdenville General Hospital in Holdenville at the age of 75. John was born February 23, 1948 in Farmington, Maine to John Weymoth Maxwell and Laniece (Wilkins) Maxwell.

In 1966, a new family moved to our little community of Shady Grove(Our community was nestled between Irving & Grand Prairie, Texas.There were five children in this family. The oldest son attended high school at Grand Prairie. His siblings attended the dependent school where I was.

Billy “Bill” Ray Watkins, 93, went to his heavenly home on February 1, 2024, in Paris, Texas, surrounded by his loving family. Bill was born on September 26, 1930, in Wewoka, Oklahoma, the son of Wesley Watkins and Mamie (Williams) Watkins.
