You know time has a way of moving quickly and catching you unaware of the passing years. It seems like yesterday that I was young, just married, and embarking on my new life with my mate.

The Community Angels will be holding their Bazaar on November 17 from 7:00 am until 2:00 p.m. at the American Legion Building on East Main in Holdenville. (Next to Johnny’s Appliance Center) You won’t want to miss this annual event. There will be lots of beautiful craft items, food items, including cakes, pies and candy.

Florene Weger passed away Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at Heritage Village Nursing Center in Holdenville, Oklahoma at the age of 91. Florene was born September 23, 1932 in Wetumka, Oklahoma to Arthur Carter and Dora Jane (Milum) Carter.
