Wolverines trounce Lexington 49-7 Holdenville traveled to Lexington last Friday to face a good Bull Dog team and the Wolverines walked away with a 49-7 victory. The game was the last regular season contest for both squads and it was a match-up that would determine third place in the district.

Holdenville’s Police Chief Kyle Lening announced his resignation after a year of transformative leadership. Lening took on the challenge of rebuilding the department, which started with just two officers and now stands at ten full-time officers, a fulltime school resource officer, and two part-timers. This expansion led to increased patrols, call responses, and felony cases filed.
