Holdenville Girls Advance to Area The Holdenville High School girls’ basketball team punched their ticket to the area tournament with an astounding 61-41 victory over Kellyville. The girls will play a tough Purcell squad in the first round of the area tournament.

District Champions The Holdenville High School girls finished a good week of basketball by whipping the Henryetta Knights by a score of 61-31. The win secured a district championship for the ladies and propelled the Wolverines into the winner’s bracket of the Regionals! Holdenville will play Sperry at Kellyville Thursday evening at 6.

Wolverines chalk up 2 wins The Holdenville Wolverine boys’ and girls’ basketball teams both put two games in the win column this past week with wins over Allen and Chandler. The victories put the boys record at 10-10 with a three game winning streak.

Holdenville basketball teams throttle Konawa Both the Holdenville boy’s and girl’s basketball teams made the 2023 Homecoming festivities an event to remember. The evening began with Dierre Olden crowning Madi McFarland as the 2023 Homecoming Queen and Madi reciprocating and crowning Dierre as the Homecoming King! After all the pictures and usual things that go along with Homecomings, the Holdenville Boys went to work and completely humbled the Konawa Tigers by a lopsided score of 82-39.

Holdenville girls wallop Prague The Holdenville High School girls played an extremely good Prague team last Friday. Both teams were ranked and it was billed as a showdown between the highly ranked Wolverines and the highly ranked Red Devils.
