Doyle Gene Wilson

Doyle Gene Wilson passed away July 13, 2022 in Holdenville at the age of 84.

Doyle was born July 8, 1938 in Holdenville to Willard Wilson and Iva (Holt) Wilson. He graduated from Holdenville High School in 1959. Doyle married his high school sweetheart Mary Evelyn Petete in 1959. He was a farmerrancher his whole life. Doyle enjoyed working all the time, and spending time with his family. He attended the Church of the Nazarene.

Doyle is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Helen Morris and Wayne Wilson; and son-in-law Mark Brannon all of Holdenville.

He is survived by his wife Mary Wilson of the home; daughter Linda Brannon; son Bryan Wilson and wife Kerry of Holdenville; grandchildren Crystal (Eric) Elliott of Choctaw, Micah (Ashley) Mitchon, and Connor Brannon of Holdenville, Holly (Mark) Lamb of Cushing, Rachel (Jeff) Ginter of Edmond, Erin (Jesse) Babb of Holdenville, Julie (Travis) Leister of Shawnee, and Kaitlyn Itson (Shawn) of Seminole; greatgrandchildren Emma, Chase, Carson, Easton, Mya, Kynsley, Kyler, Kason, Harper, Hudson, Mayes, Miller, Kamdyn, Grady, Haiden, Gabby, Wyatt, and one greatgrandchild due in November; great-great-grandchildren Evelyn and one due in August.

Graveside service was held at 11:00 am Saturday, July 16, at Holdenville Cemetery. Interment followed.

Pallbearers were Keith Morris, Bryan Wilson, Micah Mitchon, Connor Brannon, Mike Wilson and Jesse Babb.
