Russell Shane Epperley, age 51, left this earthly walk on March 16, 2023. He was born February 29, 1972, in Holdenville, Oklahoma, to Hal and Debra Epperley.

Tensions ran high once again at last week’s Holdenville City Council meeting, however where the previous meeting resulted in little to no action, this meeting was action packed. One local business owner spoke to the council under the communications item on the agenda, where she questioned the city’s preparedness for the city’s transition saying that the city is completely unprepared and so far behind on transitioning that it is putting the city in jeopardy.
