Holy Week is upon us. A 79-year-old Tuskahoma woman was fatally injured in a two-vehicle crash the afternoon of March 27. The collision occurred at approximately 3:45 p.m.

CLEET CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION ACADEMY # 77 WRAPPED UP WITH A GRADUATION RECENTLY. The graduating class saw two Holdenville Officers complete the training, Tanner Clark who has been the force one year, and Jason Spearman, who has been with the department for two years. OSBI, FBI, OBN, Secret Services, and State Medical Examiner’s Office all provided instructors. Graduation was an event to remember with OSBI Director Greg Mashburn as a guest speaker. Oklahoma students’ scores in reading and math stagnated in 2024 and remained well below the U.S. average, according to national test results released this week.

Last week’s winner of the Spring sports battle goes to the Oklahoma Weatherman! The spring sport buses ran on Monday and Tuesday but set idle the rest of the week. The Wolverine softball team managed to play three games, the baseball team got two games in and the track team did manage to make it to a meet on Tuesday. The rest of the week belonged to the weatherman.
