Wewoka wins rivalry clash 33-12

Body
Fans never know what to expect when the Wewoka Tigers and the Holdenville Wolverines square off in their annual rivalry football game. A normal expectation based on the premise that Wewoka dominated the 2019 game by a score of 52-12 would be that the Tigers would run all over the Wolverines. This would be the normal expectation since both teams had most of their players returning. Wewoka went deep into the 2019 play-offs and is ranked as high as 5 in their class. Last year was really a down year for the Wolverines and Holdenville finished the 2019 season winless.
Holdenville running back # 4, Christian Zambrano, clears the way for # 5, Cy Tiger, as Holdenville quarterback # 2, Matt Cox, looks on. Wewoka defeated the Wolverines in a hard fought season opener.
