Body
The Holdenville Board of Education approved a pay application for bond issue in the amount of $48,459.95 during their January 11 regular monthly meeting. Superintendent Randy Davenport explained that they have finished construction of the steel structure and framing for the all-purpose building at Reed Elementary. There was an inspection earlier that day before they begin adding sheet rock to the inside. They also expect to begin on the plumbing during this time, which should take about a week. This will be followed by the flooring, which should take approximately a week, followed by the heat and air installation. Although they are behind on pouring cement, they are still planning to have the project completed in March. Voters approved this bond issue on September 9, 2019.

Good morning everyone. Hope everyone is starting this New Year with renewed hope for a better year in 2021. You may not feel blessed right now – perhaps you are battling a bad case of discouragement or frustration or Covid, but we are blessed in CHRIST all the time. We simply have to remind ourselves to walk in the light and acknowledge the LORD as our lamp. Ephesians 1:3 and 5:8 tell us: “Blessed be the GOD and FATHER of our LORD JESUS CHRIST, Who has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in HEAVENLY places in CHRIST … Walk as Children of light.”
