EXECUTIVE SESSION BREACHES BY CITY COUNCIL TO BE INVESTIGATED

In a narrow vote, the Holdenville City Council voted to invite Oklahoma state agencies, including the State Auditor, to investigate breaches of executive sessions. A few months ago, sensitive information from one of the council’s executive sessions was shared on social media by a citizen who is not a member of the council.

In the month of October, the Holdenville Police Department took just over 80 calls for service, made 22 arrests, wrote 11 citations and gave 54 warnings. Holdenville thumps Lexington 44-8 Holdenville put up 28 points on the scoreboard in the first quarter and then rolled to a 44-8 win over the Lexington Bulldogs. Holdenville scored early and often as they completely dominated the Bulldogs.
