Reba Mae Pettit passed away Thursday, August 16, 2024 at her home in Holdenville, Oklahoma at the age of 94. Reba was born March 27, 1930 in Atwood, Oklahoma to George Danny Black and Minnie “Dot” Grace (Moore) Black.

David Bruce Dodd Jr. passed away at his home near Wewoka, Oklahoma on Saturday, August 10, 2024, at the age of 67 years.

Clayton Keith Tyler passed away Wednesday, August 14, 2024 at his home in Allen, Oklahoma at the age of 55. Clayton was born September 6, 1968 in Waurika, Oklahoma to Elzy Lee Tyler and Betty Lou (Williamson) Self.

Ronald “Ron” Gene Meely Jr. passed away Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at his home in Holdenville, Oklahoma at the age of 49.

Holdenville head football coach, David Barker, is somewhat pleased with his team’s first week of practice. The veteran coach used the term cautiously excited to describe his feeling about his team’s performance in the hot August sun.
