I grew up attending small, country churches. In fact, when I was growing up, there was no such thing as a megachurch. We didn’t have a clue about bands, light shows or PowerPoint. If you had asked me what a megachurch was, I might have pointed you toward a church in town that had 300 in attendance. It was bigger than my elementary and middle schools combined.

To the thief who steals flowers from our deceased loved ones in Holdenville cemetery. They can’t see you but there is an all-seeing eye watching you. We make, buy and put flowers on our loved ones’ stones that have passed away. The flowers were tied on the tombstones and you, the thief, cut them off and stole them. I spend hours and hours, plus months making flowers for my deceased family, plus all my dear flower customers. I do that out of love for our family and my dear customers. You may be getting by with your stealing now but read II Corinthians 5:10 – For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that everyone may receive the things done in his body and according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. Your stealing is bad, and you will answer!

Primary elections for federal, state, and county candidates are scheduled for June 18 across the state. On Election Day, the polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Early voting will be held Thursday June 13th and Friday June 14th 8 a.m.- 6 p.m. or Saturday June 15th 8 a.m. -2 p.m... A list of early voting locations and the election list are available on the State Election Board website. You can find your polling place using the OK Voter Portal.
