They have been an intrical part of the church fellowship for many years. They are pictured above with (L-R): Son-in-law Gunner Fullbright, daughter Olivia Fullbright holding granddaughter Rosalyn. Michael Ray Cole of Holdenville, OK, gained his eternal healing on Tuesday, February 15, 2022. Michael was born to John and Sandra (Rutledge) Cole in Kermit, TX, on December 12, 1967. He graduated from Odom High School in 1986. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in ministry from Abilene Christian University in 1990. Michael later received his teaching certification in history from College of the Southwest in Carlsbad, NM. Michael married Angie Holliman in Abilene, TX, on March 13, 1999. They lived in New Mexico, Texas, and Oklahoma. He was member of the East Main Church of Christ in Holdenville.

Barbara Sue Morrison passed from this earth into the arms of her Savior on Thursday, February 17, 2022 in Holdenville, Oklahoma at the age of 70. Barbara was born April 12, 1951 in Searcy, Arkansas to Randol Alvin Ramsey and Bertie Irene (Riddings) Ramsey.

Former Employee Arrested for Sonic Break-in

BURGLARY IN THE SECOND DEGREE and CONSPIRACY charges have been filed against former Sonic Drive-in employee, Jeremy Owens for allegedly breaking in Holdenville Sonic Drive-in after hours during the early morning hours of February 6, 2022. At approximately 7:00am on February 6, Store Manager Jessica Cellars called the Holdenville Police Department to report the theft. They responded immediately. Ms. Cellars informed the police that on the security camera footage, around 5:00am, one gentleman, later identified as Jeremy Owens, entered the building. She could tell who it was by his stature, shoes, and by the way he walked. Ms. Cellars stated that he went back to the office, opened up the lockbox, and took out the carhop wallets. There were five wallets each containing $20.00 for a total of $100.00.

1942 State Champion Wolverine Team to be Honored at State Playoffs

by Tom Turner Holdenville’s lone state championship basketball team will be recognized and honored at the state tournament. This is the 80th anniversary of Coach John Daugherty’s State Championship and the Oklahoma Secondary School Activities Association has chosen to recognize the team.
