Jacob Baca

Body
Jacob Baca lived big. You could not be around him and not wind up with a story to take with you the rest of your life. He was fearless, he was loyal, and he loved without reservation. He could break a crowbar in a sandbox. He could get a vehicle stuck on bare rock. He would sing loud and proud and say exactly whatever was on his mind. Come what may. He once caught a wild turkey with his bare hands. He once was approached by a handicapped person that thanked him for taking up for him one night. Because that’s who he was. He was a Big 12 Champion as a Rugby player for OU and he was not shy about it. He saw much of America as a pipeliner. He had dreams and ambitions that were far beyond the reckoning of us mortals. He had hope for his family. He had God in his heart.
