This week we’re wrapping up our mini-series on the book. Parents Who Lead, by Stewart Friedman and Alyssa Westring. So far we’ve learned that the leadership principles of business can have a practical application to parenting. We’ve also learned effective leadership in the home requires discussion of, and agreement on, the core values that form the family foundation. Today, we’ll learn about six paths parents can pursue to find greater harmony and effectiveness in their homes. Here’s the quick summary:

The 2020 Holdenville Wolverine Cross Country team finished the season at Waurika Saturday. The team didn’t have a runner that finished high enough to make state but Holdenville head coach, Ryan Turner, was pleased with the improvement the team made through out the year.

As mentioned in a letter to the Tribune by Maxie Carter, I did coach Little League baseball one summer. I think it was in the summer between my Junior and Senior years in high school. It was an enjoyable experience, however, I really don’t remember too many details except for one. I honestly can’t remember what our win-loss record was, but I do remember one game that we played.

The September 2020 release from the Oklahoma Tax Commission states that the September distribution of sales tax collections by the Oklahoma Tax Commission primarily represents local tax receipts from July business. Companies that remit more than $2,500 monthly in sales tax receipts are required to file and pay electronically. The monies they reported this period represent sales from July 16 to 31 and estimated sales from August 1 to August 15 .
