Boy, she sure has a sense of humor for an “older lady”. Hmm, what does THAT mean? Getting older can sometimes mean finding more funny things in life. After all, “I’ve paid my dues!” “I’ve raised my kids.” “I want to have fun.” Aging and getting older should be fun! Aging should include a fun sense of humor.

OSSAA Changes Football Play-offs

This is definitely the strangest year ever in high school sports! Holdenville High School has had to reschedule the 2020 homecoming ceremony three times! Two games have been cancelled or postponed! These kinds of weird scenarios have been happening through out the sports world and Holdenville is certainly included in the mix. The sports year started with the Oklahoma Secondary Schools Activities Association trying to imagine all the scenarios that could effect the district and state championships but there’s been an average of over 20 games postponed or cancelled every week and that’s more than anyone could have imagined.

The 2020 Holdenville Wolverine Cross Country team finished the season at Waurika Saturday. The team didn’t have a runner that finished high enough to make state but Holdenville head coach, Ryan Turner, was pleased with the improvement the team made through out the year.

WILMINGTON, DE—Having completed the final presidential debate, Biden’s campaign has now announced they’re calling a lid until Election Day. “Biden needs the next eleven days to prepare for his acceptance speech,” Biden’s campaign manager Jen O’Malley Dillon told reporters as she kept an eye on poll numbers.
