To say the Holdenville Wolverines defeated the Coalgate Wildcats would be a drastic understatement! The game was a physical mismatch! Holdenville’s varsity, the Alpha Team, coasted through the first half, and the “Beta” team mopped up during the second half.

The Oklahoma defense struck first with a 44 yard interception touchdown by Billy Bowman. The Sooners amassed 523 yards on offense as Dillon Gabriel finished 26/39 for 366 yards and three passing touchdowns and two rushing touchdowns. The defense kept Iowa State from scoring in the second half and secured the victory. Oklahoma improved to 5-0. Now with a big win against Texas in the Red River Rivalry, OU advance to 6-0.

Wolverines wallop Wampus Cats 43-6 The Wolverines didn’t play their best game of the year but they did play well enough to totally dominate the Atoka Wampus Cats by a score of 43-6. The game had some significant highlights.
Holdenville defender, Cash Carter, interrupted an Atoka handoff and created a fumble on the Wampus Cats’ first play from scrimmage. # 24 Xavier Randal # 54, Izaia Tiger, and # 22 Sawyer Jeffrey scrambled for the loose ball that Randall ended up securing to the Wolverines the ball at the Atoka 39 yard line.

Holdenville downs Tishomingo 47-0 Holdenville dominated the Wolverines’ Homecoming game with Tishomingo-Mill Creek from the very first play from scrimmage. The game began with a Tish kick-off that went out of bounds and Holdenville’s offense entered the game with the ball on the 35 yard line.
What do you do after you beat up a car with a sledge ....you stand on it! The Wolverines smashed this wreck at the Homecoming Pep Rally and then stood on the conquered auto!

Davis edges Wolverines 30 14 Holdenville’s game with the Davis Wolves started out well. Holdenville took the opening kick-off and drove the ball right into the teeth of the Wolves’ defense to score the games first touchdown. Holdenville quarterback Izaia King capped off the long grueling drive with a 3 yard run to put Holdenville up 6-0. King added the 2 point conversion behind excellent blocking of his offensive line and the Wolverines were ahead 8-0!
Holdenville defender # 9, Cash Carter, ran down this Davis running back in the first quarter of the Wolverines game at Davis. #62, Donovann Gibbs, # 11 Wyatt Seeley and # 22 Sawyer Jeffrey sprint to assist Carter. Holdenville will host Tishomingo-Mill Creek this Friday.

Wolverines whip NRC 34-15 The Holdenville Wolverines got off to a slow start last Friday against North Rock Creek and found themselves trailing 0-7 at the end of the first quarter. Holdenville picked up the intensity in the second quarter and rallied to take a 14-7 lead at the half.
