Body Shirley Cristelee (Taylor) Lee McAdoo passed away in Holdenville, Oklahoma on Sunday morning, January 3, 2021, at the age of 84 years. Shirley was the daughter of Alton Jewel Taylor and Era (Westerman) Taylor, born on May 27, 1936, in Wewoka, Oklahoma.

Body Robert Davis, 71, longtime Hughes County resident, was called to his Heavenly home Friday, December 18, 2020, in his Holdenville home. Robert was born January 20, 1949 in Wewoka, Oklahoma to Jessie Davis and Ora (Johnson) Davis.

Body Graveside rights will be held at the Holdenville Cemetery,Monday, January 18 at 2:00. Lenell was a longtime teacher at both Holdenville and Yeager and wife of legendery Holdenville Coach, Charlie Self.

Body James Lewis ‘Jim’ Waters passed from this life Wednesday, December 23, 2020, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 84 years. Jim was one of sixteen children born to Allen Waters and Gladys (Agans) Waters on October 4, 1936 at Indianapolis, Indiana.

Body Services for Betty Jo Mitchell, 84, of Allen are 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Richmond Avenue Free Will Baptist Church in Allen. Rev. Buddy Drake will officiate. Burial will follow at Allen Cemetery.

Body Tarry Ann (Howard) Epperley passed away from this life on December 31, 2020, surrounded by her family and loved ones. Tarry was born in Portland, Oregon and was raised mostly in the Holdenville area, and that’s where she fell in love and married Gary Nolan Epperley.
