Phyllis Jean Hearn age 81, passed away Sunday, January 28, 2024 in Holdenville, OK. She was born December 23, 1942 in Wewoka, OK to W.A.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Dorothy J McCoin, 88 years old, on Monday, December 18, 2023, at 02:30, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Dorothy’s life will be celebrated in a funeral service on Friday, December 22, 2023, at 14:00, at Oakcrest Church of Christ, officiated by Myron Bruce. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens, where she will be laid to rest.

Bruce V. Roberts was born January 5th, 1949 in Holdenville, Oklahoma to Bill Roberts and Dottie (Stringfellow) Roberts. He grew up in Holdenville where he graduated high school in 1967. Bruce attended ECU one year and spent six years in the National Guard as a SPS-E5.

Kenneth Joe Harden passed away Sunday, January 21, 2024 at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 82. Joe was born March 13, 1941 in Holdenville, Oklahoma to John Henry Harden and Hattie (Bell) Harden.

Iva Clairetta Horn passed away in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on Friday, January 12, 2024, at the age 94 years. Iva was born on December 31, 1929, in Yeager, Oklahoma, the fifth of six daughters born to Samuel Asa & Martha Melinda (Worthen) White.

Steven Gene Whitton of Holdenville, Oklahoma passed away on December 23, 2023, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Steven was born on June 6, 1952, in Holdenville, Oklahoma to longtime residents, Darrel and Betty Whitton.

Dee Pack was born January 4, 1925, near Weleetka, OK to William Lester Pack and Myrtle Lee (Lancaster) Pack and passed from this life December 6, 2023 at his home east of Wetumka at the age of 98. Dee grew up in Okfuskee and Hughes County and attended Wetumka School.

We just learned recently of the death of WWII War Hero Fred Vines. He was an amazing man and will be greatly missed.
