Mo and Mary Celebrate 70th Anniversary

Elmo (Moe) and Mary Collins met on a bus leaving McAlester, fell in love, and were married on February 9, 1951 in Hartshorne, Oklahoma. Moe was a radioman in the U.S. Navy. Mary would join him in Groton, Connecticut where he was stationed. That began their life together in love.

Airport Projects Still Alive

Holdenville City Council member Jeanna Gordon, whose responsibilities include serving on the Airport Committee, presented a plan to the rest of the Council showing how they could save money renovating the airport terminal building using City workers instead of hiring contractors.
