Airport Road to be Named After Hometown Hero

Body
The Holdenville City Council voted unanimously last Tuesday night to rename the section of road running adjacent to the Holdenville National Guard Armory “Brigadier General J.C. Daugherty Memorial Road”. Many of our readers remember J.C. Daugherty as an attorney and community leader here in Holdenville, but many of you may not know of the extent of his accomplishments both in civilian and military life.

The CCN is a network of highly qualified, credentialed community health care providers such as Holdenville General Hospital, that work with VA providers to ensure Veterans receive the health care services they need when they are unable to receive care at a VA facility. Instead of traveling to VA facilities hours away, Veterans can get the care they need right here at home.
