The Barnard Memorial United Methodist Church is offering up its showers to those in need. You can go by the church located at 8th and Gulf Streets Monday thru Thursday from 10am to 1 pm and use the showers. The phone number to the church is 405-379-2439. If anyone would like to donate shampoo, conditioner, body wash, soap and travel size deodorant (roll on), please drop it off at the church office. Rev Kris Mayberry is pastor. We do have a handicap shower chair for those in a wheelchair! We want to help

EXECUTIVE SESSION BREACHES BY CITY COUNCIL TO BE INVESTIGATED

In a narrow vote, the Holdenville City Council voted to invite Oklahoma state agencies, including the State Auditor, to investigate breaches of executive sessions. A few months ago, sensitive information from one of the council’s executive sessions was shared on social media by a citizen who is not a member of the council.
