In 1966, a new family moved to our little community of Shady Grove(Our community was nestled between Irving & Grand Prairie, Texas.There were five children in this family. The oldest son attended high school at Grand Prairie. His siblings attended the dependent school where I was. Before long this high school boy asked my dad if he could date me. My dad was an evangelist who really took a liking to this young man who had lost his dad in a crop duster plane crash that very year.

Sen. Ally Seifried, R-Claremore, has filed legislation creating a pilot program to allow Oklahoma public schools to create phone-free school sites.
