They were both selected to participate in the Legislative and Celebrity Showmanship Event at OYE where they will proudly be representing Hughes County Ag Youth and Holdenville 4-H! Landen Yates will be participating with US Senator Markwayne Mullin - Caleb Cochran District Director Lainee Yates will be participating with US Senator Markwayne Mullin Josh Owen Oklahoma State Deputy Director. Legislative / Celebrity Showmanship is one of the most important and enjoyable shows of the year during OYE. Each year, more than 100 Oklahoma legislators and celebrities attend the showmanship contest where they are paired with exhibitors to compete for top showman. This is an opportunity for Oklahoma Legislators and Celebrities to meet with the future leaders of the agriculture industry. Landen and Lainee Yates have the opportunity to become the teacher, of something they are very passionate about, to their Oklahoma leaders and share an amazing experience.

Dwayne has juried into several art shows and opened Moon River Studio Art Gallery and Custom Picture Framing in Yukon, Oklahoma after leaving public education where he was an art teacher for many years.
