The third Memorial Day of the war finds Hughes County with 33 gold stars in its service flag – ranking only below Oklahoma and Tulsa counties in the number of men who have given their lives while serving our country.

HHS Class of 1964 holds 60th reunion

The 60th reunion of the HHS Class of 1964 was a great hit! A large group of former classmates gathered at the Hughes County Expo Center on June 22 to reminisce about their fun school days at Holdenville High School. A lot of good stories were told, some of which inspired a lot of laughter! The incredible food was catered by KT & Company (Amy Johnson Morrison and T.J. Morrison) and was enjoyed by all.
