The Holdenville Chamber of Commerce has cancelled their annual banquet due to the COVID-19 virus, but they still plan to present their annual Community Awards at their next Chamber Luncheon on Thursday, August 20.

The Holdenville Water Department crew tackled yet another large water line leak last week. Mayor John Massad explains that the leak was in a water line on Kelkar Street that was next to another recent patch that was visible when they began the repair, and close to yet another, earlier repair.

Bloodmobile seeks regular donors and COVID survivors

The Oklahoma Blood Institute (OBI) Bloodmobile will soon be returning to Holdenville, setting up at the Holdenville General Hospital from 11 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. August 10 and at the First National Bank and Trust from 9 a.m.– 12:15 p.m. August 13.
