Holdenville Lions Club met at Wes Watkins Technology Center for the annual fish fry. The meeting was brought to order by outgoing President, Lion Lori Woods. The flag salute was led by Lion Jack Bush, followed by the invocation by Lion Mike Lindley. There were 4 guests in attendance; John Baxley, Travis Harmon, Kathryn Radach and Daphne Irby. Treasurer Lion Steve Enos stated the regular account is low since he just paid all dues, International, State and District. The service account has a fair amount and will help get the Lions Potato Bar fundraiser going in Dec. or Jan. The treasurer’s report was approved as presented. Secretary Lion Jerrie Lindsey read the minutes from the last meeting in May 2025. The minutes were approved as read.

HOLDENVILLE — A former manager at the Holdenville Sonic is accused of taking a nightly deposit totaling more than $1,200, according to a probable cause affidavit filed at the Hughes County Courthouse.
