Jim Lively of Atwood was born and raised in Hughes County. He is the son of Glen and Carolyn Lively. Jim and his wife, Sinthia, are currently making their homes in the Calvin community. Jim is the father of seven children, Adam, Cody, Meagan, Heather, Josh, Jared and Chaeann; and grandfather of four, Hunter, Kayleigh, Easton and Ryder.

Our family is celebrating my father’s 90 birthday this month. In addition to being a milestone birthday, this occasion allows our family and friends the opportunity to re-live a lot of memories and share life experiences. My father is among a dwindling group of people who have first-hand memories of the Great Depression and World War II. The generation that lived through those historic events has been accurately called the Greatest Generation.

Lucy the beautiful Bull Mastiff-mom Hannah Roebuck is Most Handsome! Cooper the Yorkie-mom Avery Maylen won Best Trick and Best owner & pet costumejailbirds! Nugget the Bearded Dragon-mom Makayla Potter won Best Creative costume-superhero cape! Thanks to Donna Lipe for judging with me. We had a booth at Fall Festival and raised $205.00 and adopted out 13 cats and kittens! Special thanks to Sandy Carter-Sister Act III Gift shop for providing décor!
