Often times, people assume that all they know is all there is to know. They assume that if they don’t know something, it simply must be because it hasn’t happened. Nothing could be truer for those who spend a good portion of their time on Facebook criticizing the work of Holdenville’s former mayor, John Massad. John Massad worked around the clock to keep this city propped up and functioning week to week during his time in office. The idea that the mayor worked “parttime” is laughable to anyone who has actually been involved in the work of the city these past four years and not just criticizing from the bleachers. The following is not a complete list, but only a few of the things the former mayor accomplished during his time in office.
