WWII Navy Veteran, Carlus D. Scroggins celebrated his 100th birthday on October 1, 2020 and was honored on October 3, 2020 by a birthday party and a drive-by parade at the Norman Veterans Center where he resides.
Mr. Scroggins was born in a log cabin in Francis, Oklahoma to W.H. and Annie Scroggins. He was one of eight children in the family. He attended Cedar Grove Public School.
