Mixed results in county tax receipts

Sales tax revenue returns for Hughes County were mixed in the latest report. Wetumka, Calvin, Stuart, Atwood and Yeager all showed an increase in business, while Holdenville, Dustin and Gerty saw a decrease in the latest report. Wetumka received $40,357.76 in July compared to $39,473.19 last year at this time. Calvin received $11,344.42 up from last year’s July report of $6,369.98. ...
