HOLDENVILLE OLD NEWS 1941 MCCAIN MAKES OFFER – ONE CITY BASEBALL CLUB

Saturday was the second full day of spring, and with it downtown came D.J. McCain, manager of the local independent ball club last season, a troop of boys who were fairly itching to get into baseball uniforms at his heels.

McCain was looking for some way to put those boys into suits and get them behind gloves and bats.
