Wewoka’s Seminole Nation Museum Celebrates 50th Anniversary Holiday Bazaar

Wewoka, OK – November 11, 2024 – The Seminole Nation Museum in Wewoka is excited to announce its 50th Anniversary Holiday Bazaar fundraiser, a cherished local tradition that supports the museum’s mission to preserve the rich culture of the Seminole Nation and its historic capital of Wewoka. The event will take place on Friday, November 22, 2024 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the museum located at 524 South Wewoka Ave. in Wewoka.
Kerri Newman displays two hand-crocheted prayer scarves she is donating to the Silent Auction at the Seminole Nation Museum’s 50th Annual Holiday Bazaar fundraiser. Made of wool and cotton thread, the textiles can be worn to buffer the cool weather, as a decorative element at the foot of a bed, or as a holiday table runner. The choice will be up to the winning bidder at the Friday, November 22 fundraiser held at the museum from 8 a.m.to 4 p.m. The scarves will be just two of the over two dozen auction items
