Holdenville, OK - In the early hours of January 28, 2024, Officer Dylan Hale of the Holdenville Police Department was dispatched to the Jack Sherry Real Estate building located at the corner of Main St. and N. Hinckley,in response to a motor vehicle accident. Upon arrival at the scene, Officer Hale discovered a black Chevrolet truck from the early 2000s lodged inside the west side of the Jack and Sherry Real Estate and Investment building.

CITY COUNCIL ADJUSTS HUNTING AND ATV PERMIT RATES AT HOLDENVILLE LAKE

In a recent decision aimed at balancing local interests with those of visitors, the Holdenville City Council has revised permit rates for hunting and ATV operation at Holdenville Lake. The adjustment entails an increase in fees for out-ofcounty hunters and ATV operators, while rates for in-county individuals remain unchanged.

Wolverines win Regional Championship The Holdenville High School girls basketball team earned the Regional Championship Trophy last Saturday by whipping the Millwood Falcons on their home floor. The Wolverines led throughout the game but had to fight off a late 4th quarter Falcon surge to bring home the championship hardware, Holdenville jumped out to a 24-6 lead at the end of the first quarter and expanded the lead to 31-12 at the half.
Kase Sipes looks beyond a Casady defender in the Wolverines first round of the Regional Tournament. Sipes scored 10 points in the contest.
