SENIORS AND GOOD FRIENDS...

Body
“Good friends are like quilts—they age with you, yet never lose their warmth.” I have seen too many dear friends leave this world, too soon; before they understood the great freedom that comes with aging. Whose business is it, if I choose to read, or play on the computer, until 4 am, or sleep until noon? I will dance with myself to those wonderful tunes of the 50s, 60s and 70s, and if I, at the same time, wish to weep over a lost love, I will.

The Forgotten History of Father’s Day

Wolverine Sports by Tom Turner

Body
The Wolverine Summer Pride program is thriving! There are more athletes attending the strength and conditioning sessions than ever before and that should translate into an excellent 2026-2027 sports season. Coach Barker’s guys are filling the weight room every time the doors open and there were 45 girls that attended the first summer pride session. The athletes are putting in the work and things are shaping up for a productive sports season.( Is that a pun?)
Cori Coates was one of the 45 female athletes who participated in the first week of Wolverine Summer Pride! The girls are putting in the work in the offseason and the 2026-27 sports season should be fun!
