Reed Elementary would like to thank Southeast Oklahoma Title, Quetzali Becerra Rivera, and Kristina Wells for sponsoring and presenting Perfect Attendance Bicycles! This special tradition was started years ago by Kristina Wells, and we are so thankful it continues to bless our students year after year. What a fun way to celebrate students who showed up, worked hard, and finished the year strong.

HUGHES COUNTY COMMISSIONERS PROCLAIM OHCE WEEK

HOLDENVILLE, OK — Hughes County officially joined in the statewide celebration of Oklahoma Home and Community Education (OHCE) Week this past Monday. Local members from the Atwood OHCE Club and the South Canadian River Friends OHCE Club (based in Calvin) met with the County Commissioners for the formal signing of the proclamation.

The group is celebrating OHCE Week by highlighting local projects like the Atwood Cemetery maintenance and the new park project in Calvin.
