As we approach Thanksgiving, I realize how blest I have been over my life. Since high school on I have worked at jobs I really enjoy. I think we should be asking seniors “What do you love doing?” instead of “Where are you going to college?”

Holdenville Lions Club met at Boom a rang Diner for their regular breakfast meeting. The meeting was called to order by President, Lion Theresa Barkhimer. She asked for the flag salute and invocation.

Randall Dale Hutchins passed away Saturday, November 15th, 2025, at his home in Pittsburg, Oklahoma at the age of 74. Randall was born February 1, 1951, in Holdenville, Oklahoma to Clarence Columbus Hutchins and Helen Belle (Thornburg) Hutchins.

The Holdenville Wolverines completely dominated the Kellyville Ponies in round one of the state play-offs and have earned the right to advance to quarterfinals. The game appeared to be a close contest throughout the first quarter and part of the second quarter but Holdenville put on a dominating performance prior to half-time.
