Wanda Faye (Myers) Chancellor, age 91, passed away peacefully in her son’s home in Horntown, Oklahoma, on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, surrounded by many loving family members. She was born December 17, 1933, in Holdenville, Oklahoma to James and Lula Faye (Roberts) Myers.

PARKER ROBINSON NAMED PLAYER OF THE YEAR

In an end of the season awards dinner, Parker Robinson, Holdenville, was named Player of the Year in “A League of Their Own.” League organizers say she “showed all the core values you hope to see in any individual in any circumstance, on and off the field. She played to the best of her ability, while showing superior sportsmanship and a great attitude, inspiring her “buddies” each and every game.” Also pictured is Arpoika Daniels.
