It’s already August and it makes me think of Falls Creek. My old home church, First Baptist of Stonewall, always attended this massive religious camp. Except back then we were into numbers. Big numbers.

I love this Japanese doctor. I wish he was close enough for me to be one of his patients.

One of the first things I learned in Bible School as a youngster in rural Hughes County was that a parable is an earthly story with a Heavenly meaning. And some 80 years later, I know of no time in our Nation’s proud history when all of us could use more Heavenly meanings.
