Body Sharon Jene Dodson Hall passed away June 1, 2022 after a brief battle with lung cancer. Sharon was born to Floyd “Gene” and Mary Ella “Pat” Dodson January 29, 1943 in Lamar, Oklahoma.

Body There were multiple injuries reported in a two-vehicle injury on Hwy. 270 approximately 3 miles east of Seminole Monday evening, June 13. All eight people involved, including the two drivers and six passengers, were hospitalized.

Body The 18th Congressional District and Republican Representative David Smith met Friday May 27th in Atwood with approximately thirty Hughes County Farmers and Ranchers to discuss the opportunities for Hughes County and specifically Holdenville.
