Body Wolverine softball team wins trophy The Holdenville softball team traveled to Okmulgee last week to play in the Bull Dog Classic and won the second place trophy. The Wolverines defeated Liberty 15-2, McAlester 15-3 and Dewar 8-6 to earn their way into the finals.

Body James Roger Evans passed away Saturday, March 19th, 2022 at his home in Eufaula, Oklahoma at the age of 77. Roger was born September 7th, 1944 in Holdenville, Oklahoma to James Henry Evans and Mildred (Neal) Evans.

Body Ronnie Dale Guinn passed away in Ada, Oklahoma on Wednesday, March 23, 2022, at the age of 70 years. He was born on September 19, 1951 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, to Dale and Barbara (Stacy) Guinn.

Body American Legion Post 204 is flying a burial flag the month of March in honor of a fallen Vietnam veteran and former police officer. This month’s flag, which is being flown in Seminole’s Veterans Park, honors Jesse Jack Jones, Jr., who passed away in January 2017.

Body Holdenville Public Schools would like to recognize the accomplishments of Mayson Carpitcher and Eliza Maylen. Both Mayson and Eliza earned All-State Honors this year by earning a spot in the Oklahoma Small School All-State Band.
