Jimmie Edward Jett passed away Wednesday, July 30th, 2025, at Elmwood Manor in Wewoka, Oklahoma at the age of 77. Jimmie was born June 22, 1948, in Holdenville, Oklahoma to Edward Jimmie Jett and Ruby Jewell (Sherrin) Jett.

Gabe Virgil George passed away in Dallas, Texas on Thursday, August 7, 2025, at the age of 73 years. Gabe is the son of John Paul ‘Mose’ George & Pauline Joan (Patty) George, born on August 16, 1951, in Holdenville, Oklahoma.

Audrey Mae Ramsey passed away Tuesday, July 22nd, 2025, at Heritage Village Nursing Home in Holdenville, Oklahoma at the age of 92. Audrey was born September 5th, 1932, in Rush Springs, Oklahoma to Fred Berlin Wilcox and Ruby (Duke) Wilcox.

John Stanley Gibbs was born on September 9, 1936, with a fishing pole in one hand and a shotgun in the other. His dad, Eddie Gibbs, and his mother, Marty Gibbs, lived in Oklahoma City at the time but soon moved to Seminole, OK and then to Shidler, OK to a Phillips Pipeline camp. John was the oldest of three children, with younger siblings Sue and Bill. Before his senior year at Shidler High School, his dad took a promotional job with Phillips Petroleum in Del City, OK and John finished high school at Midwest City High School. Shortly after, John attended Northern Oklahoma Junior College and then Central State University.

Beverly A. Vannoy, age 87, passed away Tuesday, July 8, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Services for Clyde Eugene Leach, 76, of Ada will be held Tuesday, July 8 at 1 p.m. at First Methodist Church of Ada. Reverend Dean Stone will officiate with Jim Sanders delivering the reading of the obituary. Interment will immediately follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, July 7 from 5-7 p.m. at Criswell Funeral Home.
