Elmer “Ray” Woods passed away Wednesday, February 26th, 2025 at Heritage Village Nursing Center in Holdenville, Oklahoma at the age of 84. Ray was born April 14th, 1940 in Lawton, Oklahoma to William Woods and Lonna (Birdwell) Woods.

James Morrow, born on July 1, 1936, passed away February 15, 2025, at the age of 89 in his home in the presence of loved ones after a full life of service, love, and joy. James was born to Jim Grafton Morrow and Ora (Jackson) Morrow in Holdenville, Oklahoma.

Services for Rita Jo Moore Floyd, 85, of Ada are 11:00 a.m, on Monday, March 3rd, at Ada First Church of the Nazarene. Rev. Brian Smith will officiate; burial will follow at Swan Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 a.m. on March 3rd prior to the funeral service at Ada First Church of the Nazarene.

Elwanda “Wanda” York passed away Friday, February 21, 2025 at her home in Holdenville, Oklahoma at the age of 91. Wanda was born September 29, 1933 in McCurtain, Oklahoma to Pete Elhaney and Elizabeth (Hollingsworth) McElhaney McGeehee.

Dorothy Lea Carter passed away Tuesday, February 11th, 2025 at her home in Wewoka, Oklahoma at the age of 92. Dorothy was born February 2nd, 1933 in Mountain Home, Arkansas to Don Tripp and Ada Avis (Taylor) Tripp.

Jimmy Jack “Jumpin’ Jack” Holmes, passed away, Sunday, February 9, 2025, in Holdenville, Oklahoma. Jack was born October 10, 1940, to Bud and Reba Holmes of Holdenville.

Chris Alan Sullins passed away February 2nd, 2025 at his home in Holdenville, Oklahoma at the age of 75. Chris was born in Watonga, Oklahoma to Wayne (Pinky) Alfred Sullins and Mary Anna (Cozart) Sullins.

William Stephenson “Boots” Martin,80,ofLamar,Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on January 19, 2025. Born on August 29, 1944, in Holdenville, Oklahoma, to James Alfred Martin and Florene (Harwell) Martin, Boots lived a life filled with kindness, adventure, and a deep love for his family and friends.

Nina Stewart passed away Wednesday, January 22nd, 2025 at Holdenville General Hospital in Holdenville, Oklahoma at the age of 87. Nina was born July 17th, 1937 in Stoney Point, Oklahoma to John Franklin Sneed and Ruby Virginia (Clemens) Sneed.

Funeral services for Carol Colene Pack will be held Monday, January 6, 2025 at 2:00 PM at the First Assembly of God Church of Wetumka. Interment will follow at the Wetumka Cemetery.
