Services Held for Detress Stanley Green

Detress Stanley Green was born Tuesday November 5th,1957 in Holdenville, Oklahoma to Lloyd Detress Green and Geneva Merle (Lester) Green and passed away peacefully with his daughters and lifelong friend at his bedside on Wednesday November 22nd, 2023 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Stanley graduated from Calvin High School, Calvin Oklahoma. He later attended Tulsa Welding Institute in Tulsa, Oklahoma, after graduation he taught there for several years. He was a heavy equipment operator and avid outdoorsman that loved noodling. He loved his daughters, son and his lifelong friend.

He is survived by his daughters Rozanna and Steve Dallas of Texarkana, Texas, Amie Cox of Holdenville, Oklahoma, Bridget and Jerry Bridger of Sulphur, Oklahoma, Jessica and David Yates of Holdenville, Oklahoma, and our mother, his lifelong friend, Amelia Allen. 11 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild along with numerous other family members.

He is preceded in death by his parents Lloyd Detress Green and Geneva Merle (Lester) Green, brother Mark Lester Green and son Dustin DeWayne Green.

Cremation is under the direction of Bigalow Funeral Home. Per his wishes there will be no memorial service.
