Service Friday for Johnnie Andrew “Andy” Lucas

Johnnie “Andy” Andrew Lucas passed away Sunday, July 12th, 2026 at this home in Holdenville, Oklahoma at the age of 73.

Andy was born October 7, 1952 in Dumas, Texas to Johnnie Lucas and Bobbie (Cornutt) Lucas. Andy attended Holdenville High School. He was an electrician in the hog farm industry. Andy enjoyed raising Brahma cattle, OU sports, listening to The Sports Animal, OKC Thunder Basketball, and avid shopper. He loved spending time with family and friends.

Andy is preceded in death by his parents Johnnie and Bobbie Lucas and brother Danny Lucas. He is survived by his daughter Kelly Davenport and husband Chris of Tulsa, grandchildren, Taylor Davenport, Cohen Davenport, brother Randy Lucas and wife Pam of Harrah, sisterin- law Debbie Lucas of Holdenville, “adopted” sister Barbara Pitts of Holdenville, nieces and nephews; Randee, Cody, Deric and Cady. Andy is also survived by other relatives and friends.

Honorary pallbearers are Dean Goforth, Bruce Epperly, Richie Robinson, Colt Parsons and Tristan Johnson.

Graveside service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 17, 2026 at Holdenville Cemetery in Holdenville, Oklahoma with Bill and Pastor Dane Robinson officiating.

Interment will follow at Holdenville Cemetery.

Services are under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home in Holdenville, Oklahoma.
