Richard Dennis Walsh

“Blessed are they that mourn for they shall be comforted.” ~Matthew 5:4 Richard Dennis Walsh passed away Sunday, April 9, 2023 in Wewoka, Oklahoma at the age of 71.

Richard was born October 22, 1951 in Texarkana, Arkansas to James Walsh and Doris Ruth (May) Walsh. He worked as a plumber in the commercial and residential industry. Richard loved spending time with family and friends.

Richard is preceded in death by his father, son Keith Walsh, cousin Cindy May and his first wife Nina Seppanen.

He is survived by his mom Doris Walsh of Rockwell, TX, wife Jeannie Walsh of Garland, TX, daughter Mary Summy and husband Terry, four grandchildren; Elizabeth Fox, Rizzie Calvin, Samuel Fallin, Alex Summy, great-grandchild Nicole Young, two sisters; Mary Philipus and husband Mike of Rockwall, TX, Patty Lane of Missouri, brother Jim Walsh and wife Elsie of Virginia, cousin, Debbie Richmond and husband Steve of Lancaster, TX. Richard is survived by numerous other relatives and friends.

Services are under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home in Holdenville, Oklahoma.
