Garrison Cord Phillips passed away Friday, June 16, 2023 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 46.

Cord was born July 20, 1976 in Shawnee, Oklahoma to Garry Cran Phillips and Sondra “Sue” (Fisher) Phillips. Cord graduated from Holdenville High School. He attended Tulsa Welding School and was a graduate. He was a self-employed welder. Cord loved his daughters and spending time watching his daughters play sports. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, cars, and riding dune buggies, He could fix anything!

Cord is preceded in death by his parents; grandparents Howard and Dessie Fisher; and sister Samantha Jo Winningham Allen.

He is survived by his daughters Leigha Phillips of Holdenville, Laynee Phillips of Holdenville, and Leslie Phillips and Laycie of Holdenville; nieces Alyssa Effinger of Durant, and Brook Allen of McAlester. Cord is survived by numerous other relatives, friends, and Amber Walton.

Viewing will be 3:00pm-7:00pm, Tuesday, June 20th and 9:00am-7:00pm, Wednesday, June 21st at Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home, Holdenville, Oklahoma.

Funeral service will be 1:00pm, Friday, June 23, 2023 at the First Baptist Church in Holdenville with Pastor David Pope officiating. Interment will follow at Non Cemetery. Pallbearers are Bobby O’Bryant, Mike “Chicken Fry” Hamilton, Timmy Epperley, Greg Harden, Brandon Harden and Pat Brown. Honorary pallbearers are Travis Huff, Cody McFarland, Anthony Couffer, Everett Maynard, and Chris Goforth Services are under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home in Holdenville, Oklahoma.
