Dale Freeman Milam passed away Monday, November 16, 2020, at Holdenville General Hospital in Holdenville Oklahoma at the age of 86.

Dale was born October 17, 1934 to Ira and Mary (Freeman) Milam in Lamar, Oklahoma. He graduated from Capital Hill High School and later graduated from Central State University in Edmond, Oklahoma. He married Phyllis Jean Horton on August 26, 1954. Dale served his county in the U.S. Marine Corp for 10 years. He was self-employed and retired as a Financial Analyst. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lamar.

Dale was preceded in death by hi parents; the love of his life for over 5 years, Phyllis Jean Horton Milam; so Donald Mark “Buck” Milam; grandson Nicholas Paul Ratliff; three sisters Rhetta, Maryilyn and Janice. He is survived by his daughter Cindy Dalene Milam Dechant of Lamar; son Michael Dale Milam and wife Mable of Jenks; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Dale is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and one special Aunt June Freeman. Graveside

Graveside service will be 10:00 am Thursday, November 19 th , at Holdenville Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Raymond Leader, Jay Gamble, Barry Broadway, Jason Ratliff, Billy Dale McCoy, K.C. Baxter and Keith McCoy. Honorary pallbearers are James Elkins, Rusty Minick, Donnie Freeman, John Freeman, Brent Shockley, Tim Kestler, Babe Milam and Brian Freeman.

Services are under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home, Holdenville, Oklahoma.
