The Holdenville Chamber of Commerce welcomed Vic Woods, Superintendent of Wes Watkins Technology Center (WWTC), as the guest speaker for their April 15 monthly luncheon General Meeting. Woods shared that Wes Watkins covers 2,048 square miles that includes 8 school districts. Holdenville is one of those school districts, and Woods commented on the very strong relationship they have with Superintendent Randy Davenport and Holdenville Schools, stating they are a great asset, just as WWTC is a great asset to Holdenville. Woods also praised the Holdenville Chamber for a very entertaining evening he had at the March 25 Chamber Banquet with his wife, Lori, who is a Career Development Specialist at Wes Watkins, adding they were very impressed by the Holdenville students that served the meals.
